  • A Stunning 1930's Sterling Silver Tazza, made by Britton, Gould & Co, assayed for Birmingham 1933. Britton, Gould & Co were silversmiths registered in London and Birmingham, this particular mark was used from 1928 until the outbreak of the second world war in 1939. They traded from an "high end" retail shop in Hatton Gardens London. The angular shaped handles are on a shaped dished section engraved with floral swags and a hand pierced decoration. The weight of this magnificent architectural silver is 396 grams (not loaded) the maximum measurements are 6.5" high 12" across, the dish is 8.5".
