  • A stunning large Victorian sterling silver hot water pot, of baluster form with the original raffia work scroll handle, ivory finial and gadrooned borders. The makers mark as can be seen has been over-struck, the makers were William Gibson and John Langham, assayed in London in 1898. In 1899 they entered a new mark "Goldsmiths and Silversmiths". The hot water pot is also stamped with the retailers name, "The Goldsmiths & Silversmiths Company, 112 Regents Street London W Note, for export to the U.S.A. the ivory finial can be easily removed. Condition is used/very good, no dents or repairs Stands at 9.25" high and 5.5" at max, weight is approximately 493 grams.
